Orthopedic Surgeon (Part Time)
Part-time orthopedic clinic at a rural Indian Health Service hospital: outpatient evaluation, procedures and follow-up for a tribal community.

Run a part-time orthopedic clinic at a rural IHS hospital serving a tribal community. 10XG created and staffs this clinic, including supply and credentialing support, so you can focus on patients.
What you will do
- Hold outpatient orthopedic clinic days: evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
- Perform procedures within the facility's capability, such as injections, fracture care, casting and splinting.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up for cases that need surgery at a tertiary center.
- Document in the facility's electronic health record and complete credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Advise the facility on orthopedic supplies and equipment.
What you need
- MD or DO with a completed orthopedic surgery residency.
- Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery (ABOS or AOBOS).
- Current, full and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
- Current BLS; DEA registration.
- Able to pass a federal background investigation and meet IHS immunization requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Indian Health Service, VA or military treatment facilities.
- Experience serving rural or tribal communities.
Pay and schedule
- Pay: discussed at screening; one all-in rate with travel arrangements agreed before the first clinic block.
- Schedule: part time, several clinic days per month; dates set with the facility.
- Where: on site at a rural IHS hospital; location shared at screening.
- Type: part time, independent contractor or W-2 by agreement.
