Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Support the nursing team at a rural IHS hospital serving a tribal community. 10XG has filled this role before and keeps a bench of candidates ready for the next opening.

What you will do

• Take and record vital signs, intake and output, and patient observations.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, positioning and transport.
• Keep rooms, carts and supplies stocked and clean.
• Document care in the facility's electronic health record and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow facility infection-control and safety procedures.

What you need

• Active CNA certification in the facility's state, or eligible for reciprocity before start.
• Current BLS.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a federal background investigation and meet IHS immunization requirements.

Nice to have

• One year or more of hospital or long-term-care experience.
• Experience with the Indian Health Service or another federal facility.

Pay and schedule

• Pay: hourly wage per the applicable Service Contract Act wage determination, plus the health and welfare benefit; paid biweekly.
• Schedule: full time, 40 hours per week; shifts set by the nursing department.
• Where: on site at a rural IHS hospital; location shared at screening.
• Type: full time, W-2 employee of 10XG LLC.
