Data Management Specialist (Healthcare)
Comprehensive management of VA healthcare data across multiple departments: data quality, stewardship and reporting for a VA health care system.

Own the quality, definitions and reporting of healthcare data used by several departments at a VA health care system. 10XG holds this requirement today and is building its bench for the next opening.
What you will do
- Maintain data quality and integrity across departmental datasets; find and fix errors at the source.
- Govern data definitions, access and documentation so departments report the same numbers the same way.
- Build, validate and distribute recurring reports and ad-hoc analyses for clinical and administrative leaders.
- Coordinate with department data owners and VA program offices on changes to data elements and systems.
- Support audits and data requests with documented, repeatable methods.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in health information management, data science, statistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three or more years of healthcare data management, data quality or reporting work.
- Strong SQL and Excel; experience with a reporting tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- U.S. citizen, able to pass a VA background investigation.
Nice to have
- Experience with VA systems (VistA, CDW, VSSC) or another federal health system.
- RHIA, RHIT or CDMP credential.
Pay and schedule
- Pay: discussed at screening; one all-in rate.
- Schedule: full time, weekdays during business hours.
- Where: a VA health care system; on-site and remote arrangements set by the program office; location shared at screening.
- Type: full time, W-2 employee of 10XG LLC.
